Belgian travelers stranded at Schiphol after diverted flight: “Buses and hotel rooms promised, but no one was there”

After a holiday on the Cape Verde Islands, Antwerp friends Tibor Babori and Tomas Scibrani left for Brussels on Tuesday afternoon. At least that was the intention, because due to the drones that were spotted around Belgian airports during the evening, their flight had to divert to the Dutch airport Schiphol. There, the 150 passengers were left to their fate by travel organization TUI, Babori reported to our editors via ‘4040’.
