Olivier Biebuyck will become the new CEO of the listed West Flemish steel wire producer Bekaert. He must lead the next phase of the company’s transformation, the company announced on Friday before the stock exchange. His appointment takes effect on June 1. Biebuyck succeeds Yves Kerstens, who has led Bekaert since September 2023.
