Madonna has again caused concern among her fans with a photo. The singer shared pictures from her preparation for the upcoming world tour on Instagram. In one of them it looks like she needs treatment for her knee.
Madonna had to postpone her tour
Madonna’s upcoming “The Celebration” tour had to be postponed for health reasons. The 65-year-old contracted a bacterial infection in July, for which she even had to be treated in hospital. There was even talk of her being lucky to survive. The planned start of the tour then had to be delayed from July to October.
However, a collection of photos on her Instagram profile makes her fan base fear that there will probably be delays again. Or at least that Madonna is not at 100 percent of her strength. The collection features the “Like A Prayer” singer preparing for the tour. Numerous behind-the-scenes looks with her dancers and crew give an impression of how hard the “Queen of Pop” is working on her stage comeback.
Perhaps she’s working too hard, as one shows Madonna with an ice pack on her knee while two of her helpers appear to be treating her. Another picture also shows her bandaged leg. The same injury bothered her on her last tour.
In the comments, her fans expressed their well-being wishes, but also expressed their worries about Madonna. “Oh nooooo. Your knee. I would say, relax first, but I’m going to the show in London in October, so I say: just don’t overdo it!” says one user. Another comment said: “Finally enough passion for what you love to do, but take care because there are more important dinners than a tour. We love you, Madonna.”
Madonna’s “The Celebration Tour” begins October 14th in London. On November 28th and 29th she will play two concerts in Germany, in Berlin’s Mercedes-Benz Arena. Tickets are via ticketmaster available and cost 53.75 to 352.75 euros in the normal price category. The price for platinum tickets is between 179 and 458 euros.
