In the dress rehearsal for the Champions League cracker at Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain only achieved the next league victory with a lot of effort. The star ensemble from the French capital defeated FC Nantes 4: 2 (2: 2) on Saturday, but did not shine much.

Four days before the round of 16 second leg in Munich, world champion Lionel Messi (12th), Jaouen Hadjam (17th, own goal), Danilo Pereira (60th) and Kylian Mbappé (90th + 2) scored for the hosts. Mbappé’s goal just before the end was historic: the striker’s 201st competitive goal in the PSG jersey surpassed the record of the previous club record scorer Edinson Cavani.

Blas and Ganago score for Nantes

The table-13. Nantes had equalized thanks to Ludovic Blas (31st) and Ignatius Ganago (38th).

PSG coach Christophe Galtier had no opportunity to spare his superstars in the tight game: Messi and Mbappé played through.
