I would have liked to have seen him in the Bundesliga. I think he can do a lot more than he showed at West Ham. Think it will be like Haller – he will stand out at Torino and then recommend himself for higher tasks.
I think it’s a shame that he’s not going to Hoffenheim. Or to Hertha. There weren’t any rumours, but I would have considered that to be appropriate for both parties. Next to Baumgartner in Hoffenheim (Prömel or Samassekou on the 6), and Hertha could have used him very well.
Oh, I think he would have done very well for Gladbach too. Although he is better in the middle and Gladbach probably looks at classic outside.
Oh well. Let’s see if it really hits Turin like I think it will. If so, it’ll be a bargain next summer.
