Beer lovers know that there is plenty of taste in beers.

According to a recent study, beer drinkers can be roughly divided into two macular camps.

This beer flavor study was exceptional in the sense that testers were not professional beer experts, but ordinary consumers. The purpose of the study was to find out what the ordinary beer drinker appeared.

The study included 135 beers and received 18 different lager tasting. The taste jury met three times.

Members of beer jury were asked to evaluate, among other things, the sweetness of the beer and the intensity of aroma.

It turned out that the tasters were clearly divided into two camps.

Strong or soft?

According to the study, beer lovers were clearly divided into two camps, the taste preferences of which were quite the opposite.

Some clearly prefer strong flavors, others softer.

For example, Samuel Adams and Brooklyn brands made the most popular flavors to the top. For example, they were not enthusiastic about Budweiser beers.

The favorite list of softer flavors was almost exactly the opposite.

The study does not tell you what kind of people the two macular camps belong to. If you want to find out this, a new study must be done. For example, it might be interesting to know which macular has more men and both women.

The study tells Nature.
