The third division of the SpVgg Unterhaching and FC Hansa Rostock cannot take place: The municipality of Unterhaching left the sports park, where the bottom of the table of the 3rd division, spent its home games, “because there is no current security concept approved by the responsible authorities”. This was announced by the German Football Association (DFB).

The DFB was informed about this at short notice. The game on Sunday at an alternative venue could not be realized at short notice. According to Hansa Rostock, around 1,300 tickets were sold to FC Hansa supporters for the 26th game day.
The association will now intensively examine the processes that have led to the surprising blocking of the sports park and possible consequences. A catch -up date for the game has not yet been determined.

Last weekend, Dresden fans tried to break through safety glass during the game in Rostock in order to get from their block to a buffer zone next to the grandstand area with Rostock supporters. The police then marched in this buffer zone. Then the action escalated: Hansa fans in particular shot neon rockets and pyrotechnics towards the guest block. On the lawn and in the player tunnel, players and official both clubs came together. The second half was only kicked off with a delay of 28 minutes. There were numerous injuries.
