Bebe Rexha injured after concert-goer threw his phone at her

The projectile hit the pop singer in the head. The wound had to be sewn up.

Bebe Rexha sustained head injuries during her concert at Pier 17 in New York on Sunday (June 18) when a cell phone was thrown towards the stage by a concertgoer. After the phone caught her, the pop singer went down. A group of crew members rushed onto the stage to help her. Eventually, Rexha had to leave the stage injured.

The wound then had to be stitched up. And the man who threw the phone at her was later identified and arrested. He was charged with assault.
