Beautiful Wark continues without drummer Dennis Hendriks. The band on Facebook says that. “Dennis has been aspiring to his own musical career for some time. Although we understand and respect his ambition, combining these plans with the agenda of Mooi Wark in the long term turned out to be difficult.”

According to Mooi Wark, opinions about this were “unbridgeable”. “This made Beautiful Wark decide to say goodbye to Dennis.” The Asser Drummer has been working for some time with his own solo career.

This weekend Mooi Wark already played without Hendriks on the Zwarte Cross and the C’est La Vie festival in Emmen. Hendriks announced on his Facebook page to regret that decision. The drummer already hinted that there were troubles in beautiful Wark. According to him, he had a “strong but well -founded opinion about certain things within the band prior to last weekend”.

Hendriks is being replaced by Geert Kruit, who has already entered him several times. “We wish Dennis every success with his further musical path and thank him for his efforts in recent years.” Hendriks also played for the band for some time about twenty years ago. Then he was replaced by John Roffel. After Roffel’s death in 2017, Hendriks took over his place again.

Dennis Hendriks was not yet available for a response.
