The German beach volleyball players Svenja Müller and Cinja Tillmann continue their high.

Around two weeks after winning the EM bronze medal, the German top duo moved into the final at the Pro Tour in Montreal. In the semifinals against Tina Gradina and Anastasija Samoilova from Latvia, a 2: 1 (15:21, 21:18, 15:10).

The tournament victory now waves with another good performance. In the final on Monday (from 0:00 CEST) it is now against the two Canadians Melissa Humana-Paredes and Brandie Wilkerson. The duo won the silver medal in Paris in 2024.

Müller/Tillmann had problems against the letters, especially in the first set, but then fought themselves into the decisive third set and clearly kept the upper hand there.

Just two weeks ago, Müller and Tillmann took third place at the home European Championships at Düsseldorf Rochusclub, winning the second EM medal in a row. In 2023 the duo in the Haag had brought the European Championship title for the first time, since then it has been part of the expanded world tip.

The biggest highlight of the calendar year is still ahead for beach volleyball players: in November the world elite meets in Adelaide. The new world champions will be sought in the sand of South Australia from November 14th to 23rd.
