The German beach volleyball players Louisa Lippmann and Linda Bock celebrated their first joint tournament victory on the Pro Tour.
The duo prevailed on Saturday evening in the final of the Challenge event in Baden near Vienna with 2: 0 (22:20, 21: 9) against Mila Konink and Raisa Schoon.
Previously, Lippmann and Bock had taken second place in Poland as the greatest success in a Challenge tournament, the second highest game category of the tournament series.
In the previous week, the duo, which has been playing since last November, was left in the round of 16 at home in Düsseldorf.
After Lippmann and Bock, Nils Ehlers and Clemens Wickler in Austria are also using the title. With the 2: 0 (21:18, 24:22) against the Australians Mark Nicolaidis and Izac Carracher, the silver medalists from Paris moved into the semi -finals.
The preliminary round for Ehlers and Wickler, who had failed in Düsseldorf in the quarter -finals in Düsseldorf, is on Sunday (10 a.m.) against Miles Evans and Chase Budinger from the USA.
