Basketball Bundesliga club Ratiopharm Ulm won his home game against the Rostock Seaawolves. The 87:80 home win was hard fought in the end.
A high -class basketball game looks different. Ratiopharm Ulm was too tired for spectacular basketball. Nevertheless, it was enough against Rostock to win a home against Rostock on Saturday evening.
No delicacies at the beginning
This is not a treat in the first few minutes. Both teams work in the game. It doesn’t look like a game in the initial phase. Rostock belongs to the first highlights: Deandre Lansdowne and Sid-Marlon Theis transform their beautifully played distances. Chris Sengfelder ends the first little run of the guests. He brings Ulm into the lead for the first time by three and by two. The hectic, restless first quarter goes 18:10 to Ratiopharm Ulm.
A lot of conversation for the cabin
At the beginning of the second quarter, Ulm puts a shovel on the defensive. The runner -up always steals the ball to the guests and secures second chances with rebound. However, the Ulmers cannot really stop. The game is still bumpy. Newcomer Bryce Brown, who is playing for Ulm for the first time on Saturday evening, cannot yet set an accents. Both coaches have sufficient conversation for half -time after played 20 minutes. Ulm is just ahead with 36:33.
Rostock demands tired Ulmer
The announcements seem to have fertilized. After the break, it looks more like a basketball game on the parquet. The pace is still high. But the first signs are increasing that the home team runs out of breath. Ulm will play his fourth game in a week that evening. Apart from training, Rostock comes to this game. Andy van Vliet uses the Ulm weakness mercilessly with two threes. The fans also feel that Ulm needs support. “It’s Ulmer’s going on” Call them in the arena. Rostock is just ahead in front of the final quarter (57:61).
With a Energy performance to the home win
The fans’ energy is actually transferred to the team. Ulm turns the game back to his side. The threesome of Chris Sengfelder is cheered frenetically. The Ulm now leave everything on the floor. But Rostock doesn’t let go. Of all things, an ex-rustocker plays a strong game in this phase: Malik Osborne. The Ulm Center scores and rebounded. 150 seconds before the end, Ulm is only six points ahead (81:75). Ulm saves the victory with the last drops in the tank (87:80). Four games, four victories – the weekly balance of Ratiopharm Ulm is impressive.
Ulm will play in the Bundesliga against the MBC in Weißenfels next Saturday. Rostock welcomes the Heidelberg team on Sunday.
