Bundesligbundesliga club Ratiopharm Ulm lost his away game at the Seaawolves Rostock with 67 to 85. No Ulm player reached normal form on Saturday evening.

Ulm-Rostock, it is the longest journey that is available in the BBL. The trip to the Baltic Sea became a debacle for Ratiopharm Ulm. The fact that Justinian Jessup was missing is not enough as an excuse.

Very weak start start

It is a game of the game to forget for Ratiopharm Ulm. The team of coach Ty Harrelson makes one thing in the first quarter – mistakes. The Ulm play bad passes, throwing many throws next to it are too slow in defense. Even an early break from the coach does not get any improvement at first. Only when the bankers get on the field will it slowly get better. Two scenes show where there is a lack of Ulm shortly before the end of the quarter. Ben Saraf loses the ball at the center line without any need. Shortly afterwards it is Nelson Weidann who tries the basket in hopeless position. Rostock leads after the first ten minutes with 21 to 10.

Almost nothing works in the second quarter either

It continues in the second quarter – Ulm ball losses, misconceptions (also from the free sausage line), and lack of ideas in the attack. So far it is not to be seen who is second in the table and who is fourth. Ulm cannot be seen again compared to the last home game against Frankfurt. In return, the Seaawolves take mercilessly Ulm uncertainty. The Rostock break tour is one to rub your eyes (40:21).

Just a short little bit of hope

Ulm comes out of the break. It is mainly Karim Jallow who presses the pace for the guests. After five minutes of play, the Rostock lead has already become a bit smaller (49:35). Rostock now has more trouble making points. But they also work out difficult litters, who sometimes fall in with a little luck. At the end of the third quarter everything is still the same. Ulm throws the ball away or next to it. Rostock leads with 21 points (66:45).

The Basketball miracle stay off

Even in the fourth quarter, no Ulm player is able to pull the game around. And yet there is one or the other moment when the game could tip over again. But Ulm also makes too many mistakes in these scenes to still create the small basketball miracle. Rostock saves the highly played ahead with a lot of fight. The bottom line is that the table run completely deservedly at 85 to 67. Next Sunday, the Ulm can do better again in the home game against Chemnitz.
