Privacy: Bayern trains in secret before the PSG game
November 3, 2025 – 2:21 p.mReading time: 2 minutes

Before the trip to Paris, Bayern are training in a good mood, but also very focused. Coach Kompany will once again field his top eleven for what is currently the “most difficult task” in football.
Shielded from prying eyes, Vincent Kompany prepared the final details for the Champions League game against Paris Saint-Germain on the club grounds in Munich on Monday (Tuesday, from 9 p.m. in the live ticker on t-online). While the media was only allowed to observe the warm-up phase involving Harry Kane and Co., the Bayern coach worked on the match plan for the top game of the group phase in camera. PSG also trained at the same time – but on their own campus in Paris.
Kompany goes into the game with an impeccable record. After 15 wins from 15 competitive games, the 39-year-old also wants to make an exclamation mark in the duel with the group leaders. Bavaria is currently in second place.
Both teams have won all three group games so far. Before kick-off on Tuesday evening (9 p.m. in the live ticker on t-online), Kompany emphasized that they were going to Paris with clear objectives: “We are going there to win. But we know that this is the most difficult task that exists in football at the moment.”
At the Parc des Princes, the coach wants to rely on his regular formation. This also includes the offensive forces Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Luis Díaz, who were recently rested in the Bundesliga. Dayot Upamecano in central defense and Aleksandar Pavlović in midfield are also firmly planned.
Captain Manuel Neuer is looking forward to the performance in France with a lot of confidence. “Paris are a strong team. I think we can still upset them,” said the goalkeeper. “We know how we have shaped this season so far.” He rates the chances in a direct comparison as “fifty, fifty”.
