According to the magazine, Buchmann has already said goodbye to his teammates in Munich. At “Sky” it is said that the talks between the clubs will continue this Monday and that a decision can be expected this week. The reports do not show whether it is a loan or a purchase. For a temporary change, Buchmann’s contract, which only runs until 2026, would have to be extended beforehand. There were reports in February that Hannover 96 and Fortuna Düsseldorf would deal with the former DFB junior for the summer. Hanover is said to have asked for a loan at the time.
Buchmann already knows FCN coach Miroslav Klose from Munich. The central defender completed a short assignment in the U17 (2-1 in Freiburg) in February 2020. Five years later, they could meet again at the FCN, Buchmann would be the sixth central defender in the club’s squad, who started the new second division season on Saturday in Elversberg.
Buchmann has been trained at FCB since 2019 and is still without use as a professional. In the summer of 2023 he moved to the first team squad, but suffered such a serious thigh injury during this time that he was out of action for 16 months. Shortly after his comeback in February, he had to be operated on the shoulder, the season ended prematurely. Now he is fit again and was in the first two games of the regional league reserve in the starting eleven.
