Julian Buhl reports from Munich

Thomas Müller Riss the championship shell in the red and white confetti rain during his farewell show. The outgoing club icon celebrated a last home win with FC Bayern in an emotional farewell. In the Allianz Arena, Müller celebrated a 2-0 (1-0) against Borussia Mönchengladbach in front of 75,000 spectators. Müller threw kissing hands into the audience when he stepped on his replacement through the trellis of his Bayern family.

“75,000 hearts that will still beat a little for me today, it will be a bit of fear and worried,” said the 35-year-old on the pay TV station Sky. He was received with firecrackers at the championship ceremony. “I can’t realize the appreciation of so many people.”

Müller tried everything to do a “reusably” in front of his beloved fans himself. But his own goal simply didn’t want to go to him on the big Thomas Müller day. Nevertheless, he enjoyed the round of honor with a wide permanent smile. And then Captain Manuel Neuer also gave him the special honor of stretching the silver master shell as the first player.

Which grade Thomas Müller got for his last home game in the Bayern jersey, who else convinced – read this in the photo show or here. For the Munich team, we go to TSG Hoffenheim on the last match day (Saturday, from 3:30 p.m. in the live ticker at T-Online).
