The NFL is visiting Germany! On November 13, the “NFL Munich Game” will take place in Munich, the Seattle Seahawks will meet the Tampa Bay Buccaneers around football legend Tom Brady. In his Insta series “DA SCHAU HI”, the football professional visits the Munich Cowboys, one of the oldest football clubs in Germany, which plays in the German Football League (GFL).

NFL will run on RTL, NITRO and RTL+ from 2023

From spring 2023, the NFL will be playing on RTL, NITRO and RTL+ in Germany. RTL and NITRO will then be the exclusive free TV partners of the NFL in Germany.

In addition, one game per week will be exclusively streamed on RTL+. Football fans can look forward to around 80 live broadcasts between September and February each season. It starts already in April 2023.

The agreement includes the draft in April, plus the preseason and regular season, the entire playoffs, the Pro Bowl and the international mega sporting event of the year, the Super Bowl with its enormous worldwide fan interest and the legendary halftime shows.

The lavish package of sports rights is supplemented by extensive highlight and framework reporting across all platforms. Other content offerings such as special NFL formats for children are also planned.
