After the restart, Bayern ran out due to goals from Joshua Kimmich and again Maxim Choupo-Moting. Then Ermedin Demirovic brought the tension back. Jamal Musiala restored the margin in favor of last season’s champion. Alphonso Davies made it 5-2.
Matthijs de Ligt was a basic player at Munich. Ryan Gravenberch stayed on the bench.
