Athletic Club won after two defeats Qarabag (3-1), the team from Azerbaijan that had remained without losing points in the first two group matches. Leandro Andrade gave Qarabag the lead in Bilbao. Then Gorka Guruzeta and Roberto Navarro and Guruzeta again scored for the home team from Spain.
