Bayern Munich greets fans with difficult win over RB Leipzig | Football

After the defeat in an empty Allianz Arena against Borussia Mönchengladbach and away wins at FC Köln and Hertha BSC, coach Julian Nagelsmann’s team was 3-2 too strong for RB Leipzig.

Bayern gave up a lead on two occasions. An early goal from Thomas Müller was answered by André Silva, who equalized in the 27th minute. After Robert Lewandowski had scored shortly before half-time, the score was tied again eight minutes after the break with a goal from Christopher Nkunku: 2-2.

Five minutes later, the ball disappeared from a cross by Serge Gnabry through the leg of Leipzig defender Joško Gvardiol into the own goal.

Bayern leads the Bundesliga with 52 points from 21 matches. Borussia Dortmund has 9 points less but will play against Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday.
