FC Bayern probably wants to keep its young striker Mathys Tel in Munich. Borrowing is apparently no longer an issue.

Mathys Tel will not leave FC Bayern Munich in the winter transfer window. Plans for a possible loan are off the table, reports Sky.

According to his information, those responsible Max Eberl and Christoph Freund have decided that the 19-year-old striker will stay with the German record champions. Tel himself also decided to stay with Bayern during his winter vacation and not look for more playing time elsewhere.

In the past few days, several interested clubs have been informed that Tel will not be given away. Bremen, Stuttgart and Augsburg, among others, showed interest in the young Frenchman. There were also inquiries from the Premier League, including from Nottingham Forest.

So far this season, Mathys Tel has played 434 competitive minutes and scored one goal.
