Bayern additions meet in the debut

Two newcomers score for the debut, an important support and the World Cup drivers are back: The soccer players from champion Bayern Munich clearly won a test match with the debut of Pernille Harder and Jill Baijings and the comeback of Linda Dallmann. In the 3-0 (3-0) win on the Bayern campus against Fortuna Sittard from the Netherlands, some World Cup drivers were back on the pitch.

First, DFB striker Lea Schüller scored with a remarkable lob (10′), before Harder with a hoe (17′) and Baijings (32′) got the final score before the break.

In addition to the two newcomers – the Danish Harder came from FC Chelsea, the Dutch Baijings from Bayer Leverkusen – coach Alexander Straus relied in front of 1224 spectators for the first time on the World Cup drivers Schüller and Klara Bühl from the start. Lina Magull and Sidney Lohmann also came on at half-time.

Dallmann returned to the squad for the first time since tearing her syndesmosis ligament in February and was able to celebrate her comeback in the 67th minute. Goalkeeper Mala Grohs was also back between the posts after recovering from a ligament injury.

On Wednesday, the FCB women face another tough test against Manchester United, which is closed to the public. The champions will play their first competitive game on Sunday, September 10th, in the DFB Cup against SG Andernach. Five days later it’s off to SC Freiburg for the league opener.
