Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen will be playing a friendly at Ibrox Stadium on December 10 (2:00 p.m. CET) against Scottish record champions Glasgow Rangers. It’s the first test for the Werkself in winter preparation.
Bayer have played four competitive games against Rangers so far. In the second round of the 1998/99 UEFA Cup, Rangers prevailed after a 2-1 away win and a 1-1 draw in the first game.
In 2019/20, Leverkusen took revenge and held their ground in the Europa League round of 16 (3-1 and 1-0).
