Bayer Leverkusen: Seoane expects “tough game”

Champions League aspirant Bayer Leverkusen received a warning from promoted team VfL Bochum on Sunday (3:30 p.m.).

“It’s a strong team that defends bravely, but also has good attacking options. It will be a tough game,” said Bayer coach Gerardo Seoane at the press conference on Friday.

In February, the Westphalians beat record champions Bayern Munich 4-2. Seoane: “They have players with individual quality and are strong at home. We prepared ourselves intensively for this week.”

The Swiss football coach can fall back on the recently injured Karim Bellarabi. In total, however, Seoane has to replace six injured players, including international Florian Wirtz (torn cruciate ligament).
