In the clubs, the planning for the coming season is in full swing. All important news in the transfer ticker.

This year’s transfer summer has it all. This is because the clubs are allowed to sign players for the first time in two different periods. Due to the club World Cup, the first transfer window for the participating clubs was open from June 1st to June 10th. The regular transfer window then extends from July 1st to September 1st.

Bayer Leverkusen has now officially introduced newcomers Jarell Quansah. The English U21 European champion comes from Liverpool FC and signs a contract with the Werkelf until June 2030. According to reports, Leverkusen transfers at least 30 million euros for the central defender to Liverpool, the sum could even increase up to 40 million euros. That would make Quansah the most expensive purchase in club history. According to “Kicker”, Liverpool has a right of surrender.

“We are very happy to be able to sign one of the most promising English central defenders with Jarell Quansah. He is quick, agile, a good footballer,” quotes a club announcement Bayer’s managing director Sport, Simon Rolfes. “In the Liverpool defensive, characterized by absolute world -class players, he has already set impressive accents. With Jarell, our defense receives pronounced dynamics, speed and duel hardness and another very important building block for the workself of the future,” Rolfes continued.

From Quansah himself it says: “It is a great task and challenge for me to become part of the current Leverkusen departure.” In Leverkusen, the 22-year-old receives the number four.

Borussia Dortmund apparently wants to try to extend the loan of Carney Chukwuemeka from Chelsea beyond the club World Cup. This is reported by the broadcaster “Sport 1”. Accordingly, negotiations to extend the loan after the club World Cup should be intensified. It is also conceivable that the loan plays a role in the upcoming Jamie Gitten Transfer from BVB to Chelsea FC.

At BVB, large pieces are held on Chukwuemeka, even though he hasn’t played much so far. According to the report, Chelsea could agree to a loan, since operating times in London are even less likely, although the club preferred a sale. Due to the susceptibility to injury of the player, however, this is not an option for BVB.

Arsenal has signed the world’s most expensive goalkeeper in the world. The Gunners, club of national player Kai Havertz, hired Kepa Arrizabalaga from Ligarival FC Chelsea. The 30 -year -old Spaniard now only costs around six million euros. During his 2018 change from Athletic Bilbao, Chelsea had paid 80 million euros for Kepa – the highest sum that was previously spent on a keeper.

The national player could hardly meet the expectations of the blues. Kepa has been awarded to Real Madrid and Bournemouth in the past two years. At Arsenal he becomes number two behind regular goalkeeper David Raya.
