Herzogenaurach/Munich, August 11, 2022 – adidas and FC Bayern Munich today presented the German champions’ new third jersey for the 2022/23 season.
The dark gray third jersey appears with red stripes on the shoulders and a red finish on the sleeves. The club crest, the adidas logo and the chest sponsor are also kept in the same shade of red. As with the home jersey, the “Mia San Mia” lettering adorns the neck area. The design highlight is the subtle, colour-contrasting diamond pattern that stretches across the front of the jersey. Based on the traditional Bavarian card game “Schafkopf”, the symbols of the leaf colors acorn, grass, heart and bells can be seen within the diamonds. Schafkopf is one of the most popular and widespread card games in Bavaria.
The new third jersey is made from 100% recycled polyester. It is now available exclusively in the adidas online shop, in the FC Bayern Online Store. The price is 90 EUR. The authentic version of the pro players is available for EUR 140 and will be available for the first time on Sunday, August 14th. worn in the game against VFL Wolfsburg.
