Coach Steffen Baumgart from Bundesliga soccer club 1. FC Köln criticized Anthony Modeste’s move to league rivals Borussia Dortmund last summer.
“From a sporting point of view,” Baumgart said before the game at BVB (6:30 p.m. / Sky) on Sky, “he should have stayed with us. That would have been best for everyone.”
FC has not yet been able to compensate for the departure of top scorer Modeste. Modeste last scored in Dortmund on October 8th against Bayern Munich and did not get beyond the role of the joker.
