The German national basketball player Danilo Barthel leaves the Turkish champions Fenerbahce. This was announced by the club from Istanbul.
“We thank Danilo Barthel for his services to the Fenerbahce family and wish him every success in his new career,” wrote the top European club on the separation.
30-year-old Barthel played two seasons for the club, which defeated Euroleague champions Anadolu Efes 3-1 in the Turkish championship final. In the Bundesliga, Barthel previously played for the Skyliners from Frankfurt and FC Bayern Munich.
