Basketball in the NBA: Hartenstein wins with the Knicks, bankruptcy for Clippers

National basketball player Isaiah Hartenstein and the New York Knicks have consolidated their favorable position for the playoffs in the NBA. Daniel Theis suffered a significant defeat with the Los Angeles Clippers.

At Madison Square Garden at home, the Knicks managed a clear 106:79 win against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday evening (March 12, 2024, local time). New York thus consolidated its place in the top six of the Eastern Conference and extended its lead over the seventh-placed guests to two wins.

Hartenstein was in the starting line-up and played a total of 20 minutes. During this time he scored six points and grabbed five rebounds.

Theis with ten points and four rebounds

World champion Daniel Theis and the Los Angeles Clippers have now lost the showdown with the Minnesota Timberwolves. In a duel between two top teams in the Western Conference, the Clippers suffered a clear 100:118 defeat in their own stadium. Los Angeles therefore missed out on getting closer to the top trio in the conference.

Theis made an impression in his 15 minutes of playing time, collecting ten points and four rebounds. The best thrower for the hosts was Paul George with 22 points. For the Timberwolves, Anthony Edwards excelled with 37 points.

The Bucks clearly lost to the Kings

The Milwaukee Bucks around superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo had to accept an unexpectedly significant defeat. At the Sacramento Kings, the Bucks lost 94:129 despite 30 points from their top Greek player. For Milwaukee it was the third defeat from the last four games.
