Alba pulls away after the change of sides

Head Coach Pedro Calles had to do without Center David McCormack in his first Bundesliga mission in the new office, who had suffered a thigh injury against Baskonia. But even without him, the guests caught the better start and quickly lay 12: 6 ahead. At first Braunschweig was able to counter with a lot of intensity and took the lead back after a 7-0 run (17:14).

Alba remained unimpressed. The defensive worked well and left the Braunschweig offensive hardly any room. And after winning the ball, the turbo was immediately started. With quick counterattacks, the Berliners were able to settle again in the second quarter. The lead over 17 points had grown up to half -time.

And even after the change of sides, the guests remained dominant, were superior in almost all respects. They were particularly nerve -wracked by the free -wire line – in contrast to the Braunschweigen. At the beginning of the last quarter, the Albatrosses had already pulled away to 89:56. And they couldn’t take that anymore.
