After his accident, basketball pro Nick Weiler-Babb from FC Bayern Munich left the hospital.
“I’m better,” wrote the 26-year-old American on social networks and thanked him for the encouragement of the past few days.
The build-up player fell during a dunk attempt in the Bundesliga game on Wednesday evening against the Hamburg Towers (86:75). Weiler-Babb lost consciousness and had to be carried off the floor on a stretcher. Bruises and a severe concussion were diagnosed.
