Dutch celebrities like to overload themselves with prizes and in order to meet that demand, every medium has its own award ceremony these days. Men’s magazine JFK presented the ‘Greatest Man of 2022’ award to Barry Hay yesterday. The number two was Evgeniy Levchenko and the number three Tim Hofman.

Barry wins prize

Barry is delighted to have won the award. “What’s up, man? Who, me?! No, of course I didn’t expect this. Maybe I just deserve it. I hadn’t thought of that yet, but maybe it is.”

Story boss Guido den Aantrekker thinks it’s right that Barry received the prize. “If this was the competition, then I don’t think it’s so strange that Barry won, because in terms of charisma he really surpasses everyone I’ve seen in this video (Everon Jackson Hooi and Nasrdin Dchar, among others, ed.). ”

Sunglasses

Although the awards ceremony took place in a dark room, Barry was still wearing sunglasses. He actually always wears it, because he doesn’t like bright lights and it’s part of his image.

Guido thinks it’s bad and disrespectful. “I honestly don’t know why he always wears black glasses at these kinds of events. I don’t think it’s that cool to be honest.”

rude

A co-worker then notes that Barry may be suffering from his image. Guido: “I think so, I think I’ve heard something about that too. I think it’s quite rude if you do it, especially if you win a prize.”

He continues: “But I’m convinced with Barry, because I also think he’s really cool, that there must be something wrong with his eyes. Maybe he can’t stand all that flash.”
