Godert Willem Baron de Vos van Steenwijk (90) has held diplomatic posts all over the world. In addition to Budapest, Jakarta and Ottawa, he was an ambassador in Moscow in the 90s. Three years after the start of the Russian invasion in Ukraine, he cracked a few hard notes about Western policy.
