The traditional British brand Barbour opened its new area in the Munich main house of the clothing dealer Hirmer last Thursday.
The label took over the former shoe area on the second floor and now presents itself on 250 square meters with its “largest permanent shop area in Germany”. The men’s collections of the Barbour and Barbour International brands as well as selected products from the women’s collection are offered. In addition to the typical jackets, the range also includes knitting goods, shirts, polo and t-shirts, pants as well as accessories and shoes.
On the occasion of the opening, Hirmer managing director Gerhard Kränzle paid tribute to the similarities of the two companies. “Hirmer and Barbour have much more than a long -term partnership – we share common values such as tradition, quality and resistance,” he said in a statement. “The opening of the new Barbour area is a sign of our common growth and the enthusiasm of our customers for high-quality Heritage fashion.”
