The year 2023 could easily have been called pink, because with the Barbie movie released in the summer, pink rushed to the top of trend colors like a tidal wave. A lot of cheeky barbie hues have been seen in the costume splendor of the castle’s parties.

In particular, the presence of MEP Alviina Alametsä (wrong) at Linna’s party cannot be missed, as she is dressed in pink sequins from top to bottom. The outfit is the creation of young designer Sarianna Niskala. Also Alametsä’s spouse, vice-chairman of the Tampere city council and deputy CEO of Suomen Lähijunie Jaakko Mustakallion sparkling pink sequins on the outfit.

Girliness is downplayed for no reason and even men can wear pink and sparkles if they want. This was already proven at last year’s Linna party by ballet dancer Atte Kilpinen sizzling in her pink tailcoat.

The idea behind wearing Alametsä pink is that every girl and boy can be who they are. As a young female politician, she also emphasizes that every girl has the right to be a girl without fear of harassment, discrimination or violence.

– Too many people have to shrink themselves and fit into strict molds, especially in male-dominated fields. Girlhood is still considered inferior. The pink sequins on the suit are a counter force to this. I want to send a message to little girls and everyone else that they are also suitable for politics, Alametsä said in advance in the press release.

Alametsä is wearing her own wedding shoes and the bag was originally bought for the wedding. Her new rose tattoo drives the jewelery post.

At the castle’s party, many guests rely on pink. You noticed these outfits in particular!
