According to the Italian driver, the TT Circuit is one of his favorite circuits in the world. “I think my best memories were also created here,” he says proudly. “Assen is also the only place where I have won in all three race categories.” Bagnaia not only won last year, but also in 2018 (Moto2) and 2016 (Moto3).
He is therefore looking forward to this weekend’s race. “I’m happy every time I’m here. I look forward to it.” Bagnaia is again a favorite this year for the win in Assen and the eventual world title. The 26-year-old driver has won three of the seven races so far this season, namely in Portugal, Spain and Italy. “Our bike is well prepared for this race. My style also fits well with this circuit. I’m looking forward to it.”
