Bad luck turns into heroic story: student repairs stalled scheduled bus packed with passengers | Domestic

Bus line 18 of the bus company, which connects Houffalize with Bastogne, suffered a breakdown on Monday morning. There were about 80 students and workers on board who were on their way to school or work. Suddenly, however, disaster struck and the bus came to a standstill.

A 17-year-old student immediately offered his help. The driver hesitated, but he said he was studying auto mechanics and the man let him go. The student quickly discovered what the problem was – “a burned-out sensor or worn solenoid valve” – and fixed it, allowing the bus to run again.

Many passengers were grateful to him. After everyone had reached their destination, the bus went to the garage for a more extensive check.
