#BackToLive: MUSIKEXPRESS launches digital bulletin board for organizers and musicians

It’s been a year since ROLLING STONE with #BackToLive drew attention to the dramatic situation of clubs, organizers and musicians. Now the pandemic is threatening to kill live music again. Again concert cancellations, tour cancellations, club closures, loss of sales.

That’s why MUSIKEXPRESS, METAL HAMMER and ROLLING STONE are now continuing the #BackToLive initiative that started last March – from January 26th the colleagues will be reporting on rollingstone.de, then we here on musikexpress.de about the situation in the industry. With interviews, analyses, statements and outlook. In the February issue of ROLLING STONE there is a large report on the subject; in MUSIKEXPRESS 03/2022 we also devote ourselves to the topic.

In addition, on January 26th we will start a digital space together, which we have set up for bands, musicians, organizers, clubs and solo self-employed people in the live music business. There everyone can communicate their concert announcements, postponements and cancellations and find out about projects, jobs and special releases. Statements can also be posted and opinions discussed.

It’s a kind of digital “bulletin board” and is intended to help the music scene get through the Covid crisis relatively unscathed.

Send your information and comments (maximum 700 characters) for (free) publication, preferably with a photo, to: [email protected]. You can find the BackToLive page at musikexpress.de/backtolive.
