Backstreet Boys on tour in Germany in autumn

Almost 30 years after their founding as a much-loved boy band, the Backstreet Boys are back with live performances in Germany and Switzerland.

According to the organizer Live Nation, there will be a series of concerts on the “DNA World Tour 2022” between Berlin (October 12) and Dortmund (November 4) in October and November.

Originally from Florida, the five-piece US vocal group is said to be one of the most successful worldwide with over 130 million records sold. In early 2019, the Backstreet Boys released their tenth studio album “DNA” on the RCA Records label, which was nominated for a Grammy. The record went straight to number 1 on the charts.

According to Live Nation, the Backstreet Boys were last on tour in Europe in 2019, so they were able to inspire more than 350,000 fans at the time. The new tour kicks off in Las Vegas this weekend with four concerts at the Colosseum Caesars Palace on April 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th.

Regular ticket sales for Germany begin on Friday (April 8). The Backstreet Boys wanted to donate part of the ticket proceeds to the UN refugee agency (UNHCR). “This post is dedicated to protecting and assisting refugees and displaced persons from Ukraine and neighboring countries,” Live Nation said.
