Concern for Thom Yorke

Radiohead is currently touring Europe. Many fans in Germany are anticipating the concerts in the Uber Arena with great anticipation. However, others were disappointed: Before that, four concerts were supposed to take place in Copenhagen, like in Berlin. However, two of these had to be postponed from December 1st and 2nd to December 15th and 16th because frontman Thom Yorke was unable to perform due to illness. Yorke is suffering from a severe sore throat. However, the band is confident that the gigs can take place in Berlin.

Tickets

Tickets for all four shows are already sold out. So if you don’t have one yet but don’t want to miss Radiohead, you have to get to the arena extra early to see if anyone else wants to sell a ticket on site.

times

The official start of the event is at 7:30 p.m. However, entry into the Uber Arena opens at 6:00 p.m. So if you want to drop off your things in a relaxed manner or get a drink beforehand, you should get there a little earlier. As at previous concerts, Radiohead will start promptly at 8:30 p.m.

Setlist and support

The band hasn’t played their biggest hit “Creep” on their tour so far. However, “No Surprises” and “Karma Police” are to be expected.

Fans can expect surprises: On November 5th, Radiohead gave a concert in Madrid and delighted with a completely mixed setlist. The band played some songs that had never been performed on stage before. Songs like “The Bends,” “Jigsaw Falling into Place,” and “All I Need” made their tour debut. The song “Nude” was even presented with a completely new piano intro. Concertgoers can be excited to see what Radiohead has in mind for Berlin.

The setlist will typically consist of 25 songs and the concert is expected to last 2 hours 35 minutes. There will probably not be a support act this time.

Access by car and public transport

If you are traveling by car, we recommend that you leave a little earlier. For orientation you can follow the signs to Friedrichshain and Uber-Platz. To enter it into the navigation system, the Uber Arena recommends the address Mildred-Harnack-Straße, 10243 Berlin.

The arena can also be easily reached by public transport. There are two stops nearby: the S+U Warschauer Straße and the S-Bahn station Ostbahnhof. It’s a five-minute walk from Warschauer Straße, which can be reached with the S3, S5, S7, S9, S75 and the U1 and U3 subways. It’s a twelve-minute walk from Ostbahnhof, which can be reached with the S-Bahn S3, S5, S7, S9. During the week, the last subway trains leave at 12:30 a.m. and the last S-Bahn trains at 1:30 a.m. On weekends everything runs around the clock.
