Bach says goodbye, Coventry now formally Olympic boss
12.19 pm: The new chairman Kirsty Coventry has formally taken over the management of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) from Thomas Bach. The 41-year-old former top swimmer from Zimbabwe was handed over the key to the head office in Lausanne by the 71-year-old German during a ceremony.
Coventry is the first woman in the highest office at the IOC. She won the elections of six male candidates in March.
Bach served two six -year periods as the highest sports boss. The former Olympic Screens champion continues to be committed as a honorary chairman for the IOC. “I have given everything I could give to the Olympic movement,” said Bach at the transfer.

Dutch hockey players win Pro League after Australia defeat
19.01 hours: Following the hockey players, the Dutch hockey players have secured the overall victory in the Pro League without taking action themselves. The team of national coach Jeroen Delmee was able to celebrate the title because competitor Australia lost 2-1 to England.
Orange had 35 points after sixteen games. Australia has 27 points and was able to achieve a maximum of 6 points in the remaining two games. Belgium, which also has to play two games, has 25 points.

Moerings looked back on a difficult day, but with a well -performing iPsthar. “The rhythm was immediately good at the first three obstacles in the jump-off. Ippsthar was also enthusiastic,” said the 26-year-old jumping rider via the Bond KNHS.
“Maybe I missed a fraction or just had some bad luck that caused the mistake. Yet he jumped super well. For the first prize I was too slow, but a third or fourth place had been realistic with a flawless result.”
Volleyball players beat Germany in Nations League
The Dutch volleyball women ended the second week in the Nations League with a victory over Germany. The team of national coach Felix KoSlowski beat the German team in five sets (3-2) in Belgrade: 25-23 19-25 25-21 23-25 15-10.
The Netherlands had lost the other three games in the Serbian capital. Poland, France and the United States were too strong. In total, the Orange has now won three of the eight games.

10.10 pm: René Dericks is the new world champion billiards in the art bumps, or billiards artistically. In the Turkish capital Ankara he defeated the Belgian Erik Vervliet 184-175 in the final.
The 55-year-old Dericks is the successor of the Amsterdammer Sander Jonen and the Limburger Jen Bessems, who both managed to write the world title twice in this difficult billiard discipline. Jonen did that in 2006 and 2011 and Bessems in 1985 and 1988. Frans Belderbos also won the gold medal in artistic.
The final was very exciting. Until the last figure, Vervliet took the lead with 175-174. The Belgian did not make the last figure after three attempts. So Dericks had to make the last figure, which is worth ten points, to be able to take the world title home.
The Dericks living in the Achterhoek managed to make the figure and was able to raise his cue as a new world champion. He was very exhausted after the final won and although he said beforehand that he had trained as well as possible, the title was also a pleasant surprise for him.
Dericks, who has a painting company in daily life, has been playing in the national summit of the artificial bumps for many years and is also in the Achterhoek competition leader at billiard events.
Volleyball players also do not cope with the United States

The team of national coach Felix KoSlowski will play the last game in Belgrade against Germany on Sunday. Of the seven games played so far, the Netherlands won two.
KoSlowski started against the US for the first time in the Nations League with Hester Jasper as Libero. Marije ten Brinke started in the middle. Lorena Wiebes wins first edition of Copenhagen Sprint
7.05 pm: Lorena Wiebes has won the first edition of the Copenhagen Sprint. After 151 kilometers between Roskilde and Copenhagen, the sprint star of SD Worx Protime was the best in the expected mass sprint of the new competition from the UCI Women’s WorldTour.
Wiebes defeated Elisa Balsamo and Chiara Consonni from Italy. Country fellow Charlotte Kool responded too late to Wiebes’ acceleration and finished fourth for her fellow countryman Nienke Veenhoven.
Wiebes booked her eleventh victory of the season. The European Champion previously won the first edition of Milan-San Remo for cyclists and Gent-Wevelgem.
Arthur Fils misses Wimbledon due to back injury
1.17 pm: Arthur Fils cannot participate in Wimbledon in more than a week. The French number 1, which occupies fifteenth place on the world ranking, has not yet recovered from the back injury that forced him to give up at the third round of Roland Garros at the end of last month against the Russian Andrej Roeblev.

Panama after victory over Guatemala close to quarterfinals Gold Cup
