Azerbaijan and Sweden duke it out in the 9th week match of the EURO 2024 Qualifiers.
Azerbaijan won the match 3-0.
Mahmudov opened the scoring in the match in the 3rd minute.
In the 6th minute, Dadashov scored the goal that increased the difference to 2.
In Azerbaijan, Bahlul Mustafazade received a direct red card in the 57th minute, leaving his team with 10 men.
Mahmudov, who scored the 3rd goal of his two teams in the 89th minute of the match, determined the score of the match.
The victory in Group F was not enough for Azerbaijan and they finished their group in 4th place and lost their chance to participate in the European Championship EURO 2024.
In the other match of the group, Austria and Estonia faced each other.
Austria defeated the opponent 2-0.
Austria, which finished its group as leader, qualified for EURO 2024.
Belgium came second behind Austria and said “I am in EURO 2024”.
