“Because of his height, the first impression of Lequincio is that he is a big and strong striker,” says technical director Ernest Faber of Heracles Almelo on the club website. “But in addition to dueling power, he also has speed and great skill on the ball. With these aspects, he fits well with the way we want to be on the field together. We think Lequincio is quite complete as a striker. He is only 21 years old and has the potential to become much better.”
Zeefuik was also rented out by AZ last season. The striker was then transferred to Belgium at OH Leuven. “I want to be important for the team, which is ultimately good for me,” says Zeefuik. “I want to grow to the highest possible level, but I am still young. For me, Heracles Almelo is a good next step in my career.”
