AZ’s away match against Sparta Rotterdam has been brought forward one day. The KNVB has decided that the Alkmaarders are not expected at Het Kasteel on Sunday 1 May, but on Saturday 30 April. Kick-off is at 9 p.m.
According to the football association, the change is related to the recent results of the Dutch clubs in the Conference League. Because the Alkmaarders are eliminated, it is not strictly necessary that they play on Sunday afternoon. The Heracles Almelo – FC Twente match was brought forward by an hour on Saturday evening and now starts at 8 p.m.
