AZ does not agree with De Wit’s settlement proposal after red card against FC Volendam

AZ announced today that it does not agree with the proposal of the KNVB prosecutor to shave Dani de Wit for three matches, one of which is conditional. The footballer from Bovenkarspel received a red card after fourteen minutes on Sunday after a foul on FC Volendam striker Robert Mühren.

De Wit was guilty after the 2-1 victory over FC Volendam, although the midfielder did not consider the violation so serious that it had to result in more than one match suspension. So the prosecutor thinks differently. If he is in the right, De Wit will have to miss the matches against RKC and PSV.

The next three Eredivisie matches that AZ will play against RKC (06/11), PSV (12/11) and after the winter break against Vitesse (07/01).
