“We want to get a round further,” Clasie is clearly in conversation with AZ Media on this Wednesday evening. The experienced captain of the Alkmaarders was missing last Saturday against Lokomotiva Zagreb and got peace. He is fit enough to play on Thursday. “It certainly feels good in terms of fitness. Of course I get rid of an injury last year, so that was not ideal. That didn’t make it nice for me, but the preparation was good.”
For Clasie it started to itch again, as the match against the Finns got closer. “You actually do it for this. Of course we know what it brought us with the semi -final in the Conference League. We had a nice European campaign last year, so we certainly strive to experience new beautiful moments.”
