Atalanta will begin the 2025/26 season on July 14 with the gathering in Zingonia. Summer friendlies and the championship debut against Pisa on 23/24 August is planned.
The Nerazzurri summer is upon us and Atalanta is preparing to face a new season full of challenges. After the well -deserved holidays, the players will meet to start athletic preparation in view of the championship and European competitions. Many new features coming, starting with the new coach and new faces that will strengthen the squad.
Gathering and preparation: we start from Zingonia
The countdown has officially started: the July 14th It is the date set for the gathering in Zingonia, the Nerazzurri headquarters. On this day, the players will be subjected to the usual medical visits and athletic tests to evaluate the physical condition after the rest period. The next day, Tuesday 15 July, the field work will officially start, with the new coach Ivan Juric to lead the team.
The company opted for a summer preparation entirely concentrated at the Bortolotti center, giving up the retreat to Clusone. This logistics choice will allow greater flexibility in organizing work: the players will stay in Zingonia or return to their homes, while maintaining tight rhythms in view of the start of the championship.
Summer friendlies: first tests in late July
The program of summer friendlies is still being definition, but some dates have already been set. Among the end of July, the tests will take place in Zingonia offering the fans the first opportunities to see the new Atalanta at work. Other challenges are scheduled for weekends of 2-3, 9-10 and 15-16 August, with opponents who will be defined by the technical staff and the Nerazzurri management.
Championship debut: Pisa arrives at Gewiss Stadium
The official season of Atalanta will start on 23 or 24 August, when the NEOPROMOSSO PISA in Serie A at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo will arrive at the first official release for Juric and the new group to be completed with the long transfer market phase.
