February 1, 2022 AvtoVAZ started selling the new version Lada Niva Travel. It is based on the Comfort package, which includes air conditioning, heated front seats and even a cooled glove box. Machine in Black version has an extended set of options and is presented, as the name implies, in a dark color. The special version is complemented by a black upholstery of the ceiling in the cabin.
The wheel rims are also painted black, the press service of the Togliatti Automobile Plant noted. At the same time, regular 15-inch wheels were replaced with 16-inch wheels. Spare wheel guard and roof rails painted in body color. The machine is equipped with a folding ignition key with a remote control for central locking and an alarm system.
AvtoVAZ Executive Vice President for Marketing and Sales Olivier Mornet noted that the Black concept has proven itself well on the Vesta, XRAY and Niva Legend families. Cars in the Black configuration receive additional options at an attractive price for the buyer. At the same time, AvtoVAZ offers customers new combinations of style and functionality.
AvtoVAZ produces cars Lada in Togliatti and Izhevsk. The family consists of five models – Vesta, Xray, Largus, Granta and Niva (Legend and Travel). Lada is exported to two dozen countries. In the domestic market, Lada has a segment exceeding 20%. In 2021, the leader changed inside Lada: for the first time, more Vesta cars were sold than Granta. Sales of cars of this brand grew by 2%, in total 350 thousand 700 cars of the Lada brand were sold in Russia.
In 2021, AvtoVAZ willgave birth to 25 thousand 415 Niva Travel. This is only 412 cars less than was sold Lada Niva Legend, which traces its pedigree from the VAZ-2121 and is preparing to celebrate its 45th anniversary on the assembly line in the spring.
