The first official insight into Part 3 reveals: a new Na’vi strain is entering the stage. There are also new Pandora corners.
It has been three years ago that “Avatar: The Way of Water” has started in the cinemas and – like its predecessor – set records on the box office. In December 2025, the third part, “Avatar: Fire and Ash”, is to come into cinemas. And now the first trailer is also there.

New trunk, familiar faces
Not too much is known about the plot itself. However, the trailer can be found – as previously suspected – that another tribe of the Na’vi will open in this film. The well -known characters Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) and some of their children can be seen in the trailer. It also seems like the characters of the last film, the water trunk, play a role again. Also included is the new Na’vi tribe, the “Ash People”, which, however, do not seem to react too friendly to the main characters.
In addition to parts of the plot, the trailer also shows the most important thing about the “Avatar” films: the visuals. The world is shown by Pandora and also corners that have never been seen before. In the complete contrast to the green forests of the first part or the oceans of the second part, the surroundings now appear gray and dry. New animal species are already being leased. Concept drawings of the film have been published every now and then in recent months.
No longer a long distance between the parts
This time it did not take 13 years between two “Avatar” films and it should probably not be the case with the next ones. A total of five parts are planned: the fourth is scheduled for 2029, and the fifth should finally come to the cinemas in 2031.
“Avatar: The Way of Water” 2022 has proven that the success of the blue people from 2009 was not a unique phenomenon. The latter played almost two billion US dollars worldwide and was the most successful film since the beginning of Covid pandemic, as well as the most eleventhest film of all time.
