Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Central Arbitration Board (MHK), the second video assistant referee assistant (Avar 2) application was decided to restart in the Trendyol Super League competitions.
In a statement made by the Central Arbitration Board’s social media account, “The Central Arbitration Board has decided to restart the application of the second video assistant referee assistant (Avar 2) in Trendyol Super League competitions in order to support the acquisition of education and experience of our referees.
Within the scope of this program, which was successfully implemented in Trendyol 1st League last season, the match official determined as AVAR 2 will observe the operation process of the video assistant referee (VAR) system. AVAR 2 officials do not have the authority or responsibility to intervene in decision -making processes in competitions.
In line with this application, it is aimed to develop the knowledge and skills of our referees for the VAR System. “
